Property Description
Silverton Lakes Campground is located in the heart of the San Juan Mountains in beautiful Southwest Colorado. This RV park has 46 spaces with utilities and a number of dry spaces (no utility hook-up) for camping. The campground has an open feel with dramatic mountain views in every direction. There are two small ponds and wetlands on the property, and the Animas River & Bureau of Land Management Land border part of the property.
Silverton is a historical mining community with an extreme ski area and the turn around point of the famous Silverton Durango Narrow Gauge Railroad. The Campground is within walking distance of downtown Silverton. The community of Silverton has a population of approximately 500 year round residents.
Utilities - The town of Silverton provides water and sewer service. There is a well pump under the main building for irrigation, but not used at this time.
Phone and cable TV are on the property and available.
All hook ups for campers are 30 or 50 amp, water, and sewer.
Land Acreage - Less than 10 acres due to mapped streets and alleys of the Town of Silverton
